So a few days ago I was supposed to be going round to my mums and helping clear out my old bed room! (I left so much crap there she can't cope haha) But then matt came up with a brilliant spontaneous idea that we should have a day out somewhere with my mum instead, we chose Oxford!
The drive there was so long, about 2 hours, but once we got there... WOW oxford is so pretty.
It's hard to believe that it's a city, it has that same sleepy airiness that you can imagine a small village would have but its so big!
All the architecture is absolutely stunning. They really don't make them like that anymore. I should have taken so many more photos than i did.
We went shopping in the centre for a while, where i came across my first ever real life visit to The White Company, I have been so obsessed by there website for so long and finally I managed to go in one! EVERYTHING in there is so beautiful, I cannot even describe it, I could literally live inside their shop and be perfectly happy forever!!!
Anyway moving on.... on our little adventure around Oxford we came across Ben's Cookies, which just happened to be #5 out of 489 on trip advisor, they do the most amazing cookies ever, ever. I'm talking better than Millie's here!!! Heaven. If you ever get chance definitely have one you will be so happy you did. Doughy goodness!
Ok so after a good few hours exploring the many streets of Oxford and being the coldest people in the whole wide world, we decided we had seen enough of Oxford, or rather our stomaches told us we had we took a 45 minute trip over to Bicester Village ..in you guessed it Bicester! If you like expensive things and you love the likes of Gucci, Prada and Jimmy Choo, you'll be more than at home here.
It's a very pretty place, well maintained and at christmas time the festive light's just enhance the entire place!
To finish up our day we decided it was definitely time to grab some food! We chose a Thai place called Trinity Cabbage's and Condom's (I know what a peculiar name! apparently there is one in Bangkok, Thailand aswell!) turns out me, my mum and matt are not Thai food lovers at all. Everything smells like wet dog. Very Strange.
All in all I had a lovely day with two of my favourite people, it wouldn't have been the same without either of them and we had such a fun day! I love them both so much!
